2011 Summer Camps

The Adversity Volleyball Club will be running a comprehensive camp program the summer of 2011. Director Mike Hulett, four time selection to Head Coaching positions for the US Paralympic Volleyball teams, is the director of coaching. Under his leadership, the USA Women’s program has won the Bronze in Athens and the Silver in Beijing, the only medals ever won by the USA in Disabled Volleyball. Mike is the only USA Volleyball Level 4 Volleyball Coach in Illinois, and has attended all of the USA Volleyball Critical Thinking Seminars. He has also coached both genders in College, High School and Club taking teams to the Junior National Championships in the Open division. Camp Coach’s will primarily be Adversity coaches but may include former club and college players. All camps take place at the Adversity Volleyball Center featuring 8 sport courts, divider nets on each, seating at every court and a quiet area for Parents which includes Wireless internet.
All camps are based on the grade the athlete will be entering in August 2011. Campers will have their verticals measured, receive training in the six physical skills of volleyball, most importantly teaching the why as well as the how.
All camps cost $200. The minimum number for camps to run is six.

Lessons private or group lessons, for one hour, provide the player many more touches than a normal practice. Lessons are available year round
Adversity Beach Club Learn to play the sand game from EVP players. Held at Libertyville High Schools Sand courts. Details on the web site.
