Bryn Kehoe

Bryn Kehoe grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended St. Ursula Academy. They won the Ohio State High School Division 1 Championship twice, in 2001 and 2003, and were runners-up in 2002. Bryn spent time training with Junior and Youth National Teams from 2002-2005 as both a setter and libero. She competed with the Junior National Team in 2005 at the World Championships in Turkey, Youth National Team in 2003 at the World Championships in Poland, and Junior National Team in 2002 at NORCECA in Canada.

Bryn went on to play at Stanford University, where they won the National Championship in 2004. Bryn was the first freshman-starting setter to be a part of a championship team. Stanford returned to the NCAA Finals again in 2006 and 2007, earning runners-up both times. Bryn was a 3 time All-American and still holds Stanford’s record for career assists and assists per game.

After Stanford, Bryn played professionally in Switzerland for VBC Biel-Bienne. After her first season, she went to train with Team USA until August 2010. Bryn returned to Switzerland to play for Sages NUC. In the next 3 years, her team would finish 2nd in the Swiss League, runners-up in the Swiss Cup, and compete in the European Cup.

Immediately following her playing career, Bryn was hired as an assistant coach at the University of Alabama. The 2 seasons that Bryn was a part of the staff still stand as the most successful in program history with back-to-back NCAA appearances.

From 2014-2016 Bryn was a coach and coaching coordinator at City Lions. From 2016-2017 Bryn lived in Finland with her husband, Conor Eaton. Bryn signed to play professionally with HPK Naiset and won 2 silver medals (Finnish League and Cup).

Upon returning to Chicago, Bryn was hired as the head coach for the women’s volleyball team at Latin School of Chicago. She currently coaches 18 National at Michio Volleyball.
