Adversity Receives
Praise from the Gateway Region...
I wanted to pass along the
compliments my site directors shared with me regarding your coaches
and players.
At the Sportsplex, my site director told me your 16's team, the
coach & players, were so nice, respectful & helpful all weekend.
My site director at MICDS on Saturday said that your 17's team was
the best team she saw all day and added she liked them b/c they had
great attitudes and carried themselves well. You deserve a lot
of credit & praise for running a club that makes a
good impression so easily. Good luck this season!
Thanks!

COLORADO
SPRINGS, Colo. (Nov. 29, 2006) – USA
Volleyball will host its annual High Performance Holiday Boys’
Training Camp at the United States Olympic Training Center in
Colorado Springs, Colo., from Dec. 27-31, 2006.
A total of 19 male
athletes will participate in the time-concentrated camp, headed up
by Tino Reyes, head coach of the 2006 and 2007 USA Boys’ Youth
National Team. Reyes will be assisted by Matt Martin, assistant
coach of the USA Men’s Junior National Team.
The High
Performance Holiday Camps are designed to provide selected, elite
athletes the opportunity to come together one additional time during
the year and train under the direction of USA High Performance
coaches. This year, the Boys’ Holiday Camp is focused solely on the
Youth age group (boys born in 1989 or 1990), which is qualified to
participate in the FIVB World Championships at Mexico in August
2007.
The High
Performance Program at USA Volleyball is the “pipeline” for young
volleyball athletes who aspire to reach the elite level of their
sport and who dream to one day represent the USA on the National
Men’s or Women’s Volleyball Team.
HP provides many
team and camp opportunities for young volleyball athletes in three
designated age groups for each gender. These age groups are
determined by an athlete’s year of birth (using international
criteria) and begin approximately when they are 13 or 14 years old,
continuing for six seasons, often into their collegiate years.
For more
information on the USA Volleyball High Performance Program, go to
